We are committed to providing your pet with the highest level of veterinary medicine. Our facility has the equipment and technology necessary to fulfill that promise. As pet parents ourselves, we are aware of the pet-parent bond and just how loving it can be and because of this, we offer an array of medical services.

If the doctor decides your pet is in need of a blood transfusion, we are prepared to serve your animal's needs. Here at Animal Emergency of Pasco, there is a special group of animals that are dedicated to saving other pets.  Like in humans, each animal has a specific blood type that we must test for and then match them to a donor.  We have many donors that voluntarily and regularly save lives.  We also always have blood plasma on hand.

When your pet’s illness requires more intensive and focused care, our hospital and staff are well-equipped for surgery and in-patient hospitalization. We do not take these matters lightly and take the most extensive preparations to ensure your pet’s well-being.

For your convenience, our hospital has a pharmacy, enabling you to pick up your pet's medications at the time of your visit. While no hospital carries every medication, we keep the most commonly prescribed medications in stock.

Sadly, sometimes our pets are too sick or old to keep fighting, and we have to make difficult decisions as a pet owner. You have options at this time. We provide gentle, compassionate care and understanding pet euthanasia. This service provides personalized attention and privacy for your beloved dog, cat, or other pets.

We specialize in all areas of emergency medicine. We pride ourselves on aggressive quality medicine provided with compassion and a focus the human-animal bond.

Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Critical patients will be given priority. No appointment is necessary. Our staff is trained to determine which cases are more critical and need to be given urgent priority. If you are fortunate enough to have a pet that is not in critical condition, we are sure you will understand if we may need to attend to a critical case first.

Our complete in-hospital laboratory allows us to quickly and accurately diagnose and monitor many emergency diseases and conditions. Rapid assessment of the patient is crucial in determining the cause of your pet’s problems so that appropriate treatment may be quickly initiated.

In addition to utilizing laboratory work to help diagnose your pet’s condition, we will perform x-rays to help us “visualize” the internal organs of the body. Our radiology unit allows up to perform high-quality x-ray studies and, combined with our digital processor; we can rapidly assess your pet’s health. Additional imaging capabilities are available via ultrasound examination.

Ultrasound is a painless, safe, non-invasive procedure that we use to evaluate your pet's internal organs. It is one of the many ways we strive to give you peace of mind when it comes to your pet's health. Using sound waves, ultrasound produces a real-time moving picture of your pet's organs that allow us to visualize objects that cannot be detected by X-rays alone.

We will prepare an honest low-end and high-end range estimate for the cost of our services before treating your pet. In most situations, a full deposit of the low-end estimate is required before treating your pet. Payment in full is needed upon the discharge of your pet. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amercian Express and CareCredit ®.

CareCredit ® is a flexible payment program, specifically designed for healthcare expenses that make it easier for you to get the treatment or procedures that your pet needs. If you plan to use CareCredit ® to finance your bill, you may apply at our front desk, or online at This will provide you with an instant answer as to whether or not you are approved.
